How to Find Your BattleTag — and Why Sharing It Is Safe
Where to copy your BattleTag in 30 seconds, why it is safe to share and where to find your gift.
Find It in 30 Seconds
On the Battle.net website it is on the Account Details page, in the BattleTag section.
Is It Safe to Share My BattleTag?
Yes, completely. Your BattleTag is your public name — every friend and every player in your group sees it. With it someone can only send you a friend request. It does not give access to your account.
- We never ask for your password, email or authenticator codes for a gift.
- If someone asks for them "to send a gift" — it is a scam, not us.
- You can remove us from friends after you get the gift.
Where Is My Gift?
Battle.net lets friends send gifts after 3 days of friendship — that is why a gift takes about 72 hours. Your order page shows the date.
